Through our day to day lives we constantly go from one state to another. When we do great at work we are happy, when our favourite sport's team loses we are sad, when we have a task to do we may feel really motivated and focused, when we have just had great sex we are relaxed and feeling like we could do anything. Its not bad to change your state all the time, if on an average day they are all positive state's.
The problem is that what state we are in is usually contingent and dependent on the outside world. How we feel is based on what is currently happening in the world, this itself is how we get into depression, clinical depression and other negative patterns of thinking. Now its not bad if your life is constantly filled with positivity, but every now and then we can have setbacks and sudden changes that are negative. This is what causes many people to not succeed because it effects them tackling the world the next time, or even tackling it at all.
I regularly have different emotion's and state's of thinking that MOTIVATE me to do anything and i mean ANYTHING. Right now i get a real adrenaline and emotional spark every time i think of the idea of going out into the world and Trying Something New, Experimenting. It excites me more than anything, the thought that anything is possible and that possibilities are endless. You see, what is great about this emotion and way of thinking is that, when i get into it....it makes me focus 10x more than normal. Because i am about to tackle something i have never done before (because i am doing something new), it makes my focus go through the roof!! Its the outcome of me creating and implementing my Individual Experience Theory; because you are doing something new, it forces you to focus more.
Now i don't get into this state by using traditional Anchoring or any other typical tool's, i don't like anchoring...probably because of the idea of connecting a silly stimulus like clicking your finger's to an emotion, and it can only be set off by that single stimulus. What i prefer more is visualising a really good thought because this thought will automatically create a good emotion. Something that starts internal will releases energy internally, so it is good to use the stimulus as something you can picture or hear. You see to connect one thing to another you have to train your mind and body to connect the two. But if both originate internally then it is going to be much more powerful. In plain old English....visualise something in your mind that you really want to happen in the future, imagine whatever it is to be the best it could possibly be, see what emotion's come out of it. The more you do it, the more your mind and body will get used to the feeling, and you will see something strange happen after a while. Because you have been visualising something you want really bad, your subconscious will start to make shifts in your behaviour to make sure you achieve this goal (this is one of the reason's why The Law of Attraction works). So because it is making shifts in your behaviour it means it will start to see your goal coming closer, therefore every time you are about to do something to achieve this goal it will release the positive emotion inside of you. Meaning that you will get this emotion every time you think of the positive thought AND when that thought starts to transcend into reality before your eyes.
Ok i am running away with my thoughts as usual, anyway, i just wanted to get across that you dont just have to rely on the outside world to be feeling good. It can come from within, by doing so you have much more control over it. Remember that you can control it, very easily in fact. Remember that.
