Well today I was thinking about getting some new shoes before I go back to Uni, and was thinking of getting something a little bit nicer then I always have gotten, I usually get shoes like etnies or w/e for skateboarding ( I used to skate at AM events) but I was thinking of getting something a bit more high fashion, anyone have an advice or suggestions in this department?
Couldn't tell ya. I personally just get a good looking pair of shoes that is roughly under $50. Generally New Balance, they seem to be comfy on my feet. Plus I've never really caught onto this skateboard shoe thing, I just like good ol running shoes.
Choose whatever you're comfortable with, make it congruent with yourself. You don't need to spend a whole lot on shoes, but shoes and some jeans can also be a worthy investment.
Tell us this first, what shoes are "nicer" to you? Will you be using these shoes solely for sarging? Or will they be your kicks throughout university?
Buy something in-between. Cheap enough for comfort, but enough to still look good.
Remember, you said you want to buy something that's high fashion. If you're going to be using them for both university and sarging, then they'll get run down a lot faster than if you were to only use them for one place.
In my opinion, get the shoes you want, but don't wear them everyday. Wear them once or twice a week, and use them whenever you go sarging.
Yeah, the prolly what I do, so I dont wear them too much to where they look raggity after a few weeks, I was thinking of getting something in this shape
Not necessarily those exactly but something like that, just dont know what I want to get brand wise.

Can you tell us what kind of clothes you intend to wear with your shoes?

None at all. Legacy likes to walk around campus in the buff.
I went to college in Los Angeles, which is where I first learned about sarging in the first place. I was so broke I wore the same pair of raggedy ass Sperrys (boating shoes favored by frat boys and fishermen) for three years.
Still got mad attention. So I agree that it doesn't really matter.
