Default Is it wrong not to drink?

Me and some guys were talking over about drinking when going out picking up women. I know most of the community says not to drink, but I always did, not to excess or anything but I like going out and loosening and having a good time.

Some guys were commenting how it's "creepy" not to drink, and basically complaining that they always see guys picking up girls who are drunk, often times quite intoxicated, and yet they are sitting there drinking water the whole time.

Basically, i guess the point being, if the girls are drinking themselves is it only right we should be doing the same?

I dont drink in general so it doesnt matter to me. Physiologically speaking and psychology speaking drink will effect your game play. IF you say it doesnt you are lieing to youself. This is coming from someone who is knee deep in psychology and psychobiology

It might loosen you up a bit, it does help me every once and a while when I don't feel like approaching. You could always get a non-alcoholic drink, that looks like an alcoholic beverage, to avoid the creeper stares..

Personaly I don't drink to excess when I go out.. if i drink at all. Does it help yeah at the begaining opeaning sets. Yeah there is a reason it is called liquid courage. Yet in later game if you drank alot you can't rember any of it and or you can't even talk and have a conversation. Is it creepy... i thinkit depends on your frame you put on it. If you are there to pick up girls and put pressure on every action you do... yeah it can be creepy. If your a guy that thinks i am going home tonight safe and i am just having fun no one cares. I never really get questioned about it but i have fall backs for if i do.
1) i am the sober driver tonight. (people respect that)
2)I just took a shot letting that one sit for a minnute.
3)Oh yeah i left that with my friends so i only got a few seconds... since i am thirsty.

I just came up with these. I think i used them more when i actually drink with my friends than when I sarge. Point is though if you make it a big deal then it is a big deal. if not then no one cares. Thats my 2 cents.

Intentionally gaming a drunk chick (for an SNL i presume?) is wrong regardless of whether you're drinking or not.

If one happens to be drunk them self I suppose they would be on the same level and not notice and be absolved of that responsibility... However, that's a terrible reason to start drinking.

I know what you mean though, I've seen plenty of times where I'll eject and say "Damn, that chicks just too drunk" and 5 guys go in to sarge her immediately afterwards.

I usually drink plenty myself, though my tolerance is pretty high and I can notice whether someone is visually intoxicated beyond thought capability.

If you like to drink, than drink. Most PUAs sarge. Not to quote The Game or anything, but, "Sarging is for losers" (252 Strauss). Live your life. Living your kick ass life is the primary objective and picking up chicks is secondary. If you have the primary objective of going out just to pick up chicks (aka sarging), than you're a loser. If I ever stop drinking, it won't be because a community of PUAs said it hurts my game. That's bullshit. although alcohol does directly hinder you physiologically and psychologically, the latent effect is that it loosens you up. Alcohol is the antibiotic for approach anxiety, haha! If you have the inner game and have internalized your material, a few drinks won't hurt your game. They might help, actually :-)

Oh, I left out something; that message was of no disrespect to WolfyStyles whatsoever. What I stated above there is simply my reality, and that is not me lying to myself.

Very much agreed. I think by focusing solely on the second one would never really come close to mastering their skills with women. They might become good, perhaps even really good, but there would always be something missing that would shine throughout their persona. Another problem of most pickup teachings, they over focus on "game" and "skills" without fulfilling general lifestyle improvements.

Usually the top pua guys think that any amount of alcohol can ruin your game, as they like to have their mind in top set. Once you get over having that liquid courage aspect of it, it doesn't really have any effect.

Honestly, most guys i know who followed that belief i found to be really incongruent. Like they would be all hyper active in sets with flash game, then the next minute they would be creeping around eyeballing the venue looking for the next set.

Honestly, just go out and have fun. Whether you like to drink or not is irrelevant. If you find yourself saying "i'll have a drink before i open" thats a bad indicator. Likewise if you're saying "i gotta cut myself off so i can be sharp in the field".
