I'll go first, this is a little canny I posted it before but this is truly my favorite line with it comes to "routines", but I forget where i heard it. It's an opinion opener but I don't usually do that whole "can i get your opinion, i can only stay a second" routine before going in. Instead i usually just walk right into them like I was talking to my friends or something.
PUA: Hey guys, my buddy johnny over there just got this girls number here a few minutes go....(pause.. point over in the crowd in the general direction where you boys are at).. so we were doing that debate of how long you wait before calling a girl right after you get her number...
HB: (usually interupts) 2 days/1 day/ wait a week...blah blah
PUA: Well get this he throws a curve ball saying he always sends a text message... i was **shocked**, i don't even know what to think about that? have you heard of this?
HB: {{omg that sooo gay.. what a cop out}} {{oh yeah thats much better, i hate getting creepy phone calls}} {{i love texting}}}
debate and discuss the merits of texting versus calling, but whatever the answer here is the girls usually begin debate eachother as well so i take the opportunity to find my target usually based on who's giving me better eye contact, give her a slight neg on her answer, agree with her friends, maybe go into an false time constraint, and cut the thread and wait for a wingman to come in and distract the obstacles. the key here really is to be quick on your toes and adapt to whatever answer they give, but not dwell on it and talk about texting for five minutes.
one of the reasons i like this opener is usually gets talking going back n forth very quickly. I absolutely hate having to go into long drawn out stories about spells or karma or something especially in a bar/club environment. It's also incongruent with my frame.
